Full Programme

After careful consideration we have made the decision not to run the 2024 Nailsea Bike Show.

We work hard to raise money for local charities by providing visitors with a weekend exhibition of motorcycles and live music, we realise this will be a disappointment to many of our loyal supporters.

Running an event of this size is difficult and we continue to face a number of challenges with the planning and coordination of our show, but our enthusiasm continues and we will be back again in early September 2025.

Saturday 16th September

10:55AM Show opening - Intro/Welcome

11:00AM Beacon Rise – An up and coming band, creating their own material. They have a strong stage presence and show their talents through swapping instruments.

12:30PM Undercover– A seasoned South Glos based cover band playing classic rock & pop tunes from across the decades, delivered with plenty of energy and volume.

1:30PM CHSW - a short Summary on the Charity.

2:00PM The Frogs – North Somerset 5 piece Band playing only the greatest hits from Transatlantic 50’s/60’s Rock and Roll and Rhythm and Blues.

3:30PM 51 Degrees - A Bristol based five piece rock band providing high energy covers to get the crowd pumped.

4:30PM Charity Raffle, Auction

5:15PM Corvus – Classic rock covers band, with some added modern pop and a few other twists and turns to add a bit of funky spice.

6:45PM Three day week - a 1970’s band based in Bristol. We were cryogenically frozen in 1980 as we didn’t want to live in a decade where Chris de Burgh was famous.

8:15PM THE REBOUNDS– A Local band formed just before the country went into lockdown, are eager to finally get out and share their take on a bunch of indie, pop and soul songs that they hope you’ll love.

9:00PM Music moves inside

9:30PM Salvage Crew – Local musicians with years of experience playing 50’s to 90’s pop, rock favourites that will get your feet tapping. We’ll put a smile of your face.

Sunday 17th September

11:55AM Show opening – Intro/Welcome

12:00AM Tairní Mara – Formed in Nailsea, Tairní Mara play mainly traditional instrumental Irish folk music including jigs, reels, hornpipes, polkas and airs.

1:30PM Cardinal Sin - The South Wests number one Frock & Roll band. Playing songs you all know in a Punk Rock Style.

2:30PM CHSW - a short Summary on the Charity.

3:00PM The Cringe – Classic Rock focusing on the music of Led Zeppelin and other Seventies trail blazers.

4:00PM Awards and Raffle

5:00PM Running on Empty – Clevedon based band who have been together for nearly twenty years. Playing blues / rock covers from the 60’s and 70’s blues and much more!

6:00PM Show closes :(

9:30PM Caught on the back foot - An extremely versatile and talented covers band who play a massive range of music of all genres, from Iron Maiden to Stevie Wonder with a bit of Oasis for good measure.

The Nailsea Bike show is held at The Ring O Bells pub, Nailsea- Google Maps

Follow the brown signs to “Tithe Barn” and it will take you directly to the show. There will also be bike show signs at key junctions.

On arrival to the show you will be directed by a team member to a suitable parking area.

Additional parking is available here.

As the show is being held in a residential area we ask all our visitors to be respectful of our neighbours when arriving and leaving the venue.

Cancellation of 2020 Show

Due to Coronavirus, unfortunately we have decided to cancel the 2020 show. Please see a statement from our Chairman John Colley below.

Hi all

After much deliberation and consultation with the charity and the committee it is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that we have decided to cancel 2020’s Nailsea Bike show.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly but based on current rules and the possibility of a second spike it is impossible to predict if it will be legal, safe or even feasible to hold an event in September. We regret that this will be yet another revenue stream removed for the CHSW and we will try to think of ways we can still help them this year that may in part make up for the money that would have been generated by the show.

As always we really appreciate your support with our event and hope that most if not all of you will be available to perform at our show in 2021.

On a more positive note Let’s work together to make 2021’s Nailsea “International” Bike show the best event to date.

Thanks again to you all for your support to date and in the future.
